Ever got bored in watching children play around and jumping up and down the trampoline? Well you need not just stand around and wait, try it yourself and bounce your way to a healthier and fitter body.
- Bouncing Newbie
Bouncing around in a trampoline may look pretty easy, but actually this simple task lets you burn calories, paving your way to weight loss and keeping you fit. Start with simple bouncing a few times a day. Master the balancing act with a trampoline to prepare for more difficult moves later on.
- Intermediate Jumper
If you feel that you are ready to move on from the basic, then go ahead and add more action into that bounce routine. You can incorporate some moves from aerobics class and/or simple exercises as you may please. Add a few kicks while on air and repeat on each side. You can also do stretches of the arms and legs. Simulate a crunch or do a twist on each jump for the trimming of the abs. Use your imagination and do some more unique simple stuff while you jump.

- Advanced Routine Jumper
When you have gotten around with most of the usual exercise stuff with the trampoline and still crave for more, you might just be ready for a more advanced moves and routines. Add sizzle to your bouncing routine with a few acrobatics trick such as flips in the air, summersault and some more. Just be sure that you are physically ready to do the task ad that you are using the right equipment. Normal home trampoline might not be strong enough to handle advanced jumping routines, so be sure to check your equipment first. If possible, purchase a competitive type or trampoline once you have decided to go advanced.
Keeping fit and fab had never been this fun. Try it out and explore the possibilities. Dieting and aerobics might not be the thing for you, so better try out having healthy fun exercises with some trampoline games today.

Here are a bunch of games you can play on your trampoline. Trampoline games are a whole lot of fun and if you have some friends to play with, you can have even more fun too.
Try some of these trampoline games (if you haven’t thought of them already) and see what you think. You can even print this list and take it with you so you can try them one after another!
Trampoline Games – Soccer
Yep, you can play soccer on a trampoline. So grab a soccer ball (or another soft ball to use) and get bouncing. The best idea is to use some chalk on the mat in the area where the goals are to be marked out, then all you have to do is score!
Get 2 playing (one on one) and if you’ve got a big enough tramp, get a couple more people into the game as well.
Rules: No touching the ball with your hands (just like in real soccer).
Trampoline Games – Keep away
Grab some chalk and divide the trampoline mat up into as many spaces as there are players. Try to keep them even so that the game is fair. Take a ball, and place it in the middle. The aim of the game is to keep the ball out of your space by hitting it towards the other’s spaces.
Rules: You can also make this harder by making it “no hands”.
An extra rule I like to add is the command “change spaces!” at which point everyone has to change to another space before the ball gets close.
Trampoline Games – Leg Wrestling
This game is kind of like thumb wars, except using your legs, and a trampoline
The aim of the game is to hop on 1 leg, and jump around like crazy in an attempt to get the other person to put their leg down. First person to put their leg down looses.
Dodge ball
You can play this game with players on the tramp, and the “shooter” off the tramp (we used to do this with the hose on too to make the tramp a bit more slippery!), or you can have everyone on the tramp and just kicking the balls around like mad.
This game works best when there’s a net around the edge of the trampoline so that the balls don’t get loose. Also, make sure they’re not too hard balls or they might hurt somebody.
Rules: Get as many others with the balls as you can!
Trampoline Games – Double Bounce
This is not really a game, as much as it is a technique you can use to get more air when bouncing. I’m sure many of you already know how to do this, but here’s a brief explanation so you can try it at home yourself.
both people bounce at roughly the same time, and one person steps a little bit out of time so that their bounce is just a bit before the other person. When they land, they draw the trampoline mat tight, so that when the second person lands it’s tighter and they bounce much higher into the air.
It’s great fun to see exactly how far you can get the other person into the air. But be careful, it’s a very powerful technique and it works very well to get lots of air.
Trampoline Games – Crack the egg
This is a classic, and a favourite. Here’s how it’s done. One person curls up into a ball or “egg” shape in the middle of the tramp. Their job is to stay curled up as long as possible.
The other player/s job is to “crack the egg” by bouncing as much as they can, and making the egg open up and be cracked.
